More than birth companions

“I want to share my experience working with Jillian. As an immigrant and a minority, I do not have a ‘village’ here, and she became my safe place during my postpartum recovery. As a first-time mother, I had never experienced so much love – and, as a result, so much anxiety and exhaustion.

I had a complicated recovery and felt ashamed about it, but I felt completely safe sharing my emotions and experiences with Jillian. She is one of the most gentle, caring, and kindest people I have ever met.

I wish I had known about her services at the very beginning of my pregnancy, because making the right decisions is so hard when you can barely breathe or sleep. What would I do differently? I would definitely go through every stage of pregnancy with Jillian! Having someone nearby who has been through a similar experience is a huge help.
